The S-30 and S-50 are linear-motion heat sealing machines. With their AC Servo drives, the S-30 / S-50 Series is designed for medium to high-speed applications, operating at up to 30 cycles per minute.
With the ability to run in multiple lanes, single index, or in a single lane with multiple centers indexing on each cycle, these systems are capable of achieving throughput in excess of 500 containers per minute, depending on the application.

Function
Cups or trays are placed manually or, automatically denested, into the carriers. At each index containers can be filled, sealed and automatically discharged. Film is cut in between each container, leaving absolutely no waste of film. The unique design of the S-30 Eco-Cut® systems by ORICS eliminates this film waste and have proven to be a perfect fit for leading processors in the food packaging industry. ORICS’ Eco-Cut® film feeder technology cuts the film in between each container, leaving no wasted film and potentially saving the facility $35,000, or more, per year in material costs alone. Further savings include reduced labor costs and downtime by eliminating the need to handle and discard excess film.

Control
Equipped with a programmable logic controller (PLC) and a high-speed optical encoder, the S-30-DX can be configured for a variety of production applications. All of the machine’s functions are controlled from a digital touch screen with a state-of-the-art, menu-driven interface.
