As a Field Technical Sales Engineer you will have the opportunity to utilize your technical engineering background to explore a potential client’s needs and develop both relationships and solutions for their specific needs.
As a Field Technical Sales Engineer, you will use your skills to solve technical problems that occur on the plant floor across a wide array of manufacturing plants. Our products are used heavily where automation applications in the food industry exist. This is a great position to apply business skills, and learn about new technologies in all industries.
We currently have several newly-created, Entry/Mid level positions available in various cities for ambitious, outgoing, and self motivated individuals who are looking to grow with an industry leader. At ORICS, we provide an outstanding hands-on training program that encompasses all aspects of technical sales. This training program is team based – you will be working closely with our current sales and engineering team. You’ll visit our customer’s manufacturing sites and see first hand how we solve our customer’s problems by applying our technologies. We aim to help them make their plants run more reliably, efficiently, and produce high quality output. After training, you will have the opportunity to grow your own territory.
- An Engineering degree is required. Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, General Engineering, and related disciplines are acceptable.
- You’ll need excellent communication skills to provide customers with the value-added support that makes Orics unique in the packaging business. Ambition and creativity are essential, in addition to a strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to solve real world problems on the plant floor.
